"Professional Diving Services"

MAKODIVER has over 35 years of diving experience. We offer a variety of diving services as well as professional and specialiized diving instruction.

We specialize in training and consulting for Public Safety Dive Teams: Law Enforcement, Fire/Rescue, and Lifeguard agencies.

MAKODIVER also offers SCUBA classes for the public from beginner though Divemaster. A maximum of 6 students per class. Smaller classes = better divers. We follow NAUI's long-standing philosphy of "Dive Safety Through Education".

MAKODIVER's Lead Instructor is a retired Fire Captain/Dive Rescue Team Leader who spent 32 years in Emergency Services.

In addition to dive training, MAKODIVER provides Stand-by & Safety Divers for on-location TV/motion picture productions, and other in-water events and activities.

MAKODIVER can also provide Search & Recovery services for lost / sunken items - "no job too small".

What We Do:

PSD DIVE TEAM DEVELOPMENT - MAKODIVER can assist Public Safety agencies with the development and upgrading of Dive Teams - from starting a new team to ensuring OSHA, NFPA, and NIOSH compliance; training, developing SOGs, gear recommendations, and grant funding.

PUBLIC SAFETY DIVER - Dive Rescue & Recovery Training for members of Law Enforcement, Fire, and Lifeguard services.

SCUBA classes - beginner through Divemaster - smaller class sizes with focus on safety, diver education, and diving skills.

STAND-BY & SAFETY DIVERS - We can provide Stand-By & Safety Divers for on-location TV & Motion Picture productions as well as other events occurring in, over, or near water.

UNDERWATER SEARCH & RECOVERY of lost/sunken items - "No job too small" - we have even located a diamond earring in 60 feet of water for a client !
